I am an Artist/quilter. I have an Art background as opposed to a Sewing background. I approach my Crazy Quilts as more of a fabric collage . I use decorative machine stitching on my Bernina as embellishment.
I will show several of my baby quilts and other Crazy Quilts on future blogs. But, meanwhile, my new technique is using muslin with water soluble fusible stabilizer on the back and simply using my decorative stitching to give the illusion of a Crazy Quilt.
The above sample blocks are 6 1/2 inches square.
